Gorgon Quintus

Gorgon Quintus is an Orpheus Sector death world in the Deluvian Sub-sector, the Guard muster and later castrum Battlefleet Orpheus fell back to after Amarah died. This pin sits in gorgon-quintus-system, not on forge-world Gorgonum.

Imperial Armour lists it as a death world with a Guard station. After the Orphean Decree abandoned the sector, surviving line ships gathered here to run the Salvation Campaign and the Exterminatus cordon. It is a mustering rock, not the hive throne.

Gorgon Quintus still matters as the Orphean fallback, not Gorgonum north of the Maelstrom. Unofficial summaries keep the gorgon-quintus-system parent and refuse to steal Amarah Prime's capital war.
