Gorgonum

Gorgonum is an Imperial forge world plotted north of the Maelstrom, an Ultima pin whose published dossier is a White Dwarf battleground and a Space Hulk: Tactics crisis. This is not Gorgon Quintus the Orpheus death world.

Ultramarines once fought Necrons among its purgamentorums. Later the hulk Forsaken Doom drifted in loaded with genestealers; Blood Angels boarded to crack it before the forge died. Placement confidence on this map is low, so the Ultima parent stays even if some charts hug the Maelstrom closer.

Gorgonum still matters as a named forge that is not Gorgon Quintus and not a Calixis hive. Unofficial summaries keep the Ultima parent and refuse the Orpheus namesake.
