Gudruntraille

Gudruntraille is a zero-confidence catalogue entry in the Ultima Segmentum, formed by a name merger, and is distinct from the world of Gudrun. It is a residual record in which the name Gudrun has been joined to the suffix ‘traille’, and some maps place it in the wrong segmentum. The suffix does not indicate a second Helican world.

Gudrun is the Helican feudal capital of Eisenhorn, associated with House Glaw and the Gudrunite Rifles. After the Glaw cult, it lost its status as sector capital to Thracian Primaris. It later fought as a fortress once the Rift opened. Gudruntraille has none of these attributes: the entry records no House Glaw, no planet-wide founding party and no Scarus address.

Gudruntraille is significant only as a leftover of name merging, not as a Helican seat of government. Unofficial summaries retain its placement in the Ultima Segmentum, do not transfer Eisenhorn’s capital dossier to it, and do not reassign the entry to Scarus.
