Hesiod’s Wake

Hesiod’s Wake is an agri world in Hazeroth that has paid a grain tithe to hive Clove for centuries. A tithe is the regular levy of goods or personnel that a world owes to the Imperium. Hesiod’s Wake meets this obligation in grain. It is also recorded as Hesiod or Hesiod’s World on some Calixis maps.

Hesiod’s Wake has delivered its tithe to hive Clove throughout this period without disorder or dispute. The records available to this dossier show no incident that interrupted the arrangement.

The world’s standing rests on this consistent record of delivery. Its history has been uneventful, and it has drawn little attention beyond its function as a supplier of grain to hive Clove.
