Hevaran

Hevaran is an Imperial world. No segmentum, system, or coordinates are recorded.

During the Horus Heresy the world joined the Traitor cause. In the Great Scouring, Rogal Dorn led the Imperial Fists there against Perturabo’s Iron Warriors. Dorn declared that the world would not be rebuilt, as a mark of its crimes and of the Imperial Fists’ losses, and a shard of his armour was left on the world. Ten thousand years later it was a ruined world with an impoverished population.

After the Great Rift, Hevaran fell into anarchy under the Iron Warriors warsmith Torven Vakra. Loyalist pilgrims were still fighting the traitors when Black Templars under High Marshal Helbrecht arrived, seeking the shard. They and the remaining pilgrims defeated the Iron Warriors, and the world was freed. No year is recorded for that battle. A valley on Hevaran is called Golgoth in one account of the fighting. That valley is not the planet Golgotha.
