Hyades is a Segmentum Obscurus jungle world under Space Wolves protection, the Sons of Fenris stage where Ragnar Blackmane, Dark Angels, and Thousand Sons-stirred Reptos tribes spent a promethium planet as a family argument.

House Belisarius mines the fuel. The canopy grows faster than settlers can burn it. Cadmus's PDF learned that two Chapters plus xenos proxies is not a border skirmish. This pin is that Fenris-neighbour jungle, not Deep Hyades-VI and not the later Nihilus civil-war Hyades of Angron: The Red Angel.

Hyades still matters as Ragnar's named jungle. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Obscurus parent and note the namesake split: the existing row is the Sons of Fenris world, even if another novel later reused the name.
