Il-Kaithe

Il-Kaithe, a name meaning “Knowledge of Blood”, is a Ghost Stars craftworld that wages war against Chaos from the edge of the Eye of Terror. Its position on the border of that region places it in continuous opposition to the forces that emerge from it.

The craftworld’s Bonesingers, who grow wraithbone, are reported to continue that work even while under fire. Il-Kaithe pursues its campaign against daemons with few restrictions on its choice of partners. It will ally with Drukhari or with humans where doing so results in a greater number of daemons destroyed.

The helm-rune of Eldanesh serves the craftworld’s inhabitants as a reminder that foresight carries a price. Il-Kaithe is distinguished among craftworlds by the primacy it gives to the war against Chaos, and by its readiness to set aside customary divisions in order to prosecute it.
