Indiga

Indiga is a mining world in the Ultima Segmentum that became a man-made death world after animals escaped from a governor’s private zoo. A death world is a planet whose environment is lethal to human inhabitants.

The animals belonged to the private zoo of the governor Constantine Principa Argoy. The escaped megafauna hybridised and produced giant predators. The human population now lives in moving towns, which are protected by the guns of the Indigan Praefects.

The Indigan Praefects have applied their skill in killing large beasts beyond the planet, exporting it to the wars against the Tyranids.
