Jerulas

Jerulas is a long-isolated hive world on the Pacificus/Tempestus seam, the prize High Marshal Ludoldus' Black Templars beat into the Imperium during the Jerulas Crusade. This pin sits in jerulas-system beside a station namesake.

Missionaries died. Templars came back with guns. Hive sieges bled the Chapter until Artificer Simagus built the Land Raider Crusader and the walls stopped mattering. Defenders claimed Dorn himself had drawn the forts, which only made the sons of Sigismund angrier. Dates wander between M39 printings.

Jerulas still matters as the Crusader's birth-hive. Unofficial summaries keep the jerulas-system parent and do not collapse this world into jerulas-station / Dironth the Belt of Iron forge.
