Kaelor

Kaelor is a world-ship that departed for the galactic rim long ago and returns to the Calixis Sector only about once every thousand years. Its long absence has left it little remembered, even among the Harlequins.

Kaelor made its journey to the galactic rim in the distant past. A catastrophic encounter with Saim-Hann later left the world-ship held together by psychic bonds. The subsequent House Wars ended with House Teirtu holding authority over what remained of it.

At intervals of roughly a thousand years, Kaelor passes through the Calixis Sector and then withdraws again. These infrequent appearances, together with its remoteness from the rest of its kind, make it one of the least documented of the world-ships.
