Karkason

Karkason is a volcanic mining world of transuranics and power crystals, the rock Governor Fulgor Sagramoso tried to peel off the Imperium in Ian Watson's Space Marine. This map keeps the zero-confidence Pacificus parent rather than inventing a crusade sector.

The Sagramoso clan had ruled for millennia until Fulgor killed the preachers, declared himself a god, and stacked seven Battle Titans around a Vitrodur capital that shrugged orbital fire. Twenty years later Chapter Master Vladimir Pugh brought more than seven hundred Imperial Fists because the tithe still wanted the mines intact. The city rearranged itself under their boots; the war spilled to neighbouring Antro and the Squats who had backed the wrong god.

Karkason still matters as the Fists' mining crusade, not a random lava stub. Unofficial summaries keep Segmentum Pacificus, do not confuse the pin with the Karkarodon System, and do not pretend the placement is high-confidence.
