Kôrynn’s Kindred

Kôrynn’s Kindred is a Leagues of Votann Kindred in the galactic core, whose Fane awoke as an Ancestor Core and founded the Kronus Hegemony. It is not a Kroot kindred, nor is it the Kronus of Dawn of War. This atlas records it as a sector beneath a merged Ultima parent entry.

The Kindred was originally a minor Hold of the Kapellan League. This changed when its Fane demanded ore, data and war, and other Kindreds followed the resulting course of aggression. Tribute continues to flow back to the Kindred so that the new Votann can be defended.

Kôrynn’s Kindred holds significance as the Kindred that began the league now known as the Kronus Hegemony. The Hegemony’s region pin already represents the league as a whole, so this entry represents the founding Kindred alone. Unofficial summaries retain the existing Ultima parent, decline to treat the pin as a planet, and keep the Kindred distinct from the Kroot mercenary kindreds.
