Mymeara

Mymeara is an isolationist Aeldari craftworld that withdrew from galactic affairs for centuries after Ork incursions nearly annihilated it. Like other craftworlds, it is both home world and ark for its scattered Aeldari population, but Mymeara’s history is marked more than most by the deliberate choice to vanish rather than rebuild in the open. Following its near-destruction, its people turned inward, forgoing contact with the wider galaxy, including other craftworlds, for a span reckoned in centuries.

During this long concealment, Mymeara’s path crossed that of Irillyth, the Phoenix Lord of the Shadow Spectres, one of the rarer and more secretive of the Aspect Warrior shrines. Irillyth is recorded as having taught the craftworld a stealth-fire doctrine, instructing its warriors in patient concealment and the delivery of a single decisive shot rather than sustained assault. This teaching shaped Mymeara’s military character for generations afterwards and marks one of the few attested interactions between the craftworld and a Phoenix Lord.

Mymeara re-entered Imperial-contested space in the forty-first millennium to recover Irillyth’s armour, lost to the ice of Betalis III. The recovery was not undertaken alone: warriors of Alaitoc and Aeldari Corsair bands joined the effort, making the episode one of the clearest timeline anchors for Mymeara’s presence beyond its own concealment, and a rare recorded point of cooperation between the craftworld and its contemporaries.

Mymeara remains isolationist in the present era, its teal-liveried hosts seldom drawn into the wider wars of the Aeldari or their neighbours. Where its warriors do engage, they favour the doctrine inherited from Irillyth: a single precise shot from concealment over open, large-scale battle, a preference that continues to define the craftworld’s reputation among those few who have encountered it.
