Necromunda is a Segmentum Solar hive world that has spent fifteen millennia turning ore, people and waste into guns. House Helmawr rules from Hive Primus; everyone else fights in the spires, the underhive, or the ash wastes. The Imperial Fists still recruit here, and the planet's older name, Araneus, belongs to a continuity the Great Crusade burned. If you want a typical hive world, this is the one the setting keeps returning to.
