Necromunda

Necromunda is a hive world in the Segmentum Solar, ruled by House Helmawr from Hive Primus and devoted to the manufacture of weapons. For some fifteen millennia its industry has converted ore, people and waste into arms.

House Helmawr governs the planet from Hive Primus. The remainder of the population fights in the spires, the underhive or the ash wastes, the settings in which that industrial output is produced and contested.

The Imperial Fists continue to recruit on Necromunda. The planet was formerly known as Araneus, but the continuity to which that name belonged did not survive the Great Crusade. The setting returns to Necromunda repeatedly as its representative hive world.
