Pech

Pech is the Kroot nest world, a jagga-forest planet whose hives were abandoned after the kindreds allied with the T’au. The kindreds are the tribal groupings of the Kroot.

The abandonment of the hives followed the actions of Anghkor Prok, who swore the kindreds to the T’au and drove the Orks from the planet. Dark Eldar raiders attacked Pech in 991.M41. Hive Fleet Gorgon later struck the world, and T’au cadres assisted in clearing the swarm.

Kindreds continue to migrate to Pech by instinct, although the hives no longer serve as settlements. The planet therefore retains its standing as the Kroot nest world, despite the Ork occupation, the Dark Eldar raid and the Hive Fleet Gorgon invasion.
