Quintus

Quintus is a barren industrial world in the Quintus System, Magulanox Sector, where White Scars and Raven Guard killed the Daemon Prince Kernax Voldorius. It served as the principal industrial stronghold of the sector and was the setting of the Hunt for Voldorius. It is not the forest world of the same name in Calaphrax.

The warp storm Argenta isolated the system. The planet’s Planetary Defence Force (PDF) then turned traitor, and Voldorius seized the hive cities. Kor’sarro Khan concluded the hunt with assistance from the Raven Guard. The world’s value lay in its position as a warp nexus against the Orks of the Jagal Stars, not in agricultural output.

Quintus is remembered chiefly as the last fortress of Voldorius. It is distinct from the forest world Quintus described in *Revelations*, and it should not be confused with Ghosar, Jendara, Arios or Josiah. The Quintus System remains its parent location.
