Segmentum Tempestus

Segmentum Tempestus is one of the Imperium of Man’s five Segmentum Majoris, or major divisions, and occupies the southern portion of the Imperial map. Its fortress is Bakka. The threats it faces come more often from xenos raiders than from breakouts out of the Eye of Terror.

The segmentum contains Krieg, Bakka, Inwit, Gryphonne, Caligari, Loki (Rynn’s World) and the Veiled Region. Orpheus no longer survives, while Uhulis continues to render its tithe in Death Korps troops.

Segmentum Tempestus remains significant as the southern defensive boundary of Terra. It is not a composite of Segmentum Pacificus. Accordingly, these unofficial notes record no parent division for it and do not maintain the duplicate identifier segmentum-pacificus-segmentum-tempestus.
