Sentinel

Sentinel, also known as Drusus, is a shrine world in the Drusus Marches, characterised by a salt desert and a single ouslite tower five kilometres high. An eternal flame burns there, and the world takes its identity as a place of pilgrimage from that flame and the tower.

The surface of Sentinel consists of salt desert, with the ouslite tower as its only prominent structure. Pilgrims travel to the world in order to visit the shrine, and many of them come with the intention of dying there. Beyond the tower’s shadow no government exists; the land is dust.

Sentinel is a devotional destination in the Drusus Marches rather than an administered or settled territory. It should not be confused with a Titan Legion world, nor with any other location of the same name.
