Signus Gamma

Signus Gamma is the blue star of the Signus Cluster, the third sun of a trinary system in which the Blood Angels were trapped during the Horus Heresy. It is distinct from Signus Prime, the capital of the cluster, which Kyriss and Ka’Bandha took.

The Signus Cluster comprises seven industrial worlds, and its trinary sky gave it the appearance of a civilised region until Horus sent the Ninth Legion into it to be destroyed. Gamma is the blue companion that Fear to Tread names alongside the red giant and the white dwarf. The rage that the Legion named after Signus arose from the war on the surface, not from the fusion of this star.

Signus Gamma remains significant as the blue sun of the cluster. This atlas records it as a star within the Signus system, not as a planet, and leaves the account of Signus Prime, the daemon capital, to that world’s own entry.
