Talasa Secundus

Talasa Secundus is a hive-world in the Talasa System, within Ultramar, and is a separate location from the neighbouring Deathwatch keep. A hive-world is a planet whose population is concentrated in vast urban structures known as hives.

The world was attacked during Abaddon’s 13th Black Crusade. The Death Guard returned to Talasa Secundus in the later Plague Wars, and the world was contested a second time.

Reclaiming the planet required a sustained campaign in which the Silver Templars and the Novamarines fought for control of it one hive at a time. Talasa Secundus is therefore recorded as Ultramar territory that was subject to repeated Chaos assault and had to be retaken by the Adeptus Astartes.
