T’au’n

T’au’n was the first true offworld colony of the T’au Empire, settled in 756.M37 close to the homeworld. It remains a principal centre of the Empire’s orbital and fleet infrastructure.

Because of its early settlement and proximity to the homeworld, T’au’n served as the Empire’s first colony beyond its place of origin. Its castes are represented in unusually even proportions compared with other T’au worlds. Its inhabitants have retained the outlook of the pioneers and scouts who first settled the world.

T’au’n has large orbital docks and the largest Air Caste stations in the Empire. These facilities make it the anchorage most favoured by the kor’vattra, the Empire’s fleets.
