Tephaine

Tephaine is the hive world of the Tephaine System on the edge of the Adrantis Nebula, the Calixis address that houses the sub-sector rather than starring in a crusade. This map keeps it under the researched tephaine-system well.

Four worlds share the gravity: this hive, agri-worlds Siculi and Tephaine Minor, and pleasure-world Reth where Calixis money goes to forget the nebula. Siculi grows protoalgia. Nearest famous neighbour is Baraspine. Dark Heresy uses the name as a map pin, not as a Black Crusade stage.

Tephaine still matters as an Adrantis hive, not a shrine capital. Unofficial summaries keep the Adrantis parent, refuse to promote Reth into a convent, and do not invent a war the Calixis gazetteer never gave it.
