Tephaine Minor

Tephaine Minor is an agricultural world in the Tephaine System of the Calixis Adrantis Nebula that feeds hive Tephaine. It serves as a source of food for the hive and is not a pleasure resort. The Orrery lists it within the Tephaine System, alongside Siculi and Reth.

The world’s function is the provision of food and housing for a sub-sector. Its role is distinct from those of its neighbours: Siculi holds the protoalgia lakes, and Reth offers rest-cures, while Tephaine Minor is the other farming world of the system. It has no attested role as a shrine world or a war-world, and it should not be presented as one in order to enlarge the apparent activity of the hive.

Tephaine Minor retains significance as the named agricultural neighbour that the *Dark Heresy* source material lists. Unofficial summaries keep the Adrantis system as its parent, treat it as separate from Reth, and leave the account of the algae lakes to the entry for Siculi.
