Tesstra

Tesstra is a world of the Ultima Segmentum, remembered as the inner capital of the Tesstra Conservation, a totalitarian human alliance of the Great Crusade era. Its principal city, Prime, is recorded as holding some sixty million people at the time of the Tesstra Compliance.

During that war Alpharius and the Alpha Legion delayed their main assault until Conservation forces had concentrated around Prime, then shattered the defence in a single devastating stroke. The Conservation’s wider domain did not long survive the example made of its capital. Tesstra’s later Imperial administration is thinly attested beside that campaign.
