Tigrus

Tigrus, also written Tigris, is an Ultima forge that first built Vanquisher cannon, Fellblade accelerators and Hunter shells. Sources record it as the place of origin of these three weapons.

The earliest recorded event in its history is an Ork invasion under Arrgard in the thirty-fifth millennium (M35), in which the Orks overran the forge. Later publications nonetheless refer to Tigrus fleets, and they record a War of Neotech against Vesh’yo in 747.M41 and an attack by the Sautekh in the Indomitus era.

The sources do not agree on whether the Ork occupation continued or ended, and this entry does not reconcile them. It records the M35 conquest and the later fleet, war and attack as separate accounts of Tigrus. Its standing rests on its association with the three weapons named above.
