Tranch

Tranch is an Adrantis hive and the birthplace of the Pale Throng, a mutant-psyker revolt of 807.M41 that overthrew the Oligarchs. The revolt originated in the hive’s soot-warrens, the densely built and heavily polluted lower districts.

The Pale Throng did not confine itself to Tranch. Its adherents sought to spread the uprising across Calixis. The Imperium suppressed the revolt by devastating the planet itself.

Tranch remains a war-world of ruins. It retains a warp lane to Spectoris and Scintilla, and it is recorded chiefly for the Pale Throng and the scale of the destruction that ended it.
