Typhon

Typhon is an unnumbered location entry filed under the Ghost Stars, distinct from Typhon Primaris, the Dawn of War II world in Subsector Aurelia. The entry denotes the unnumbered Typhon that some charts place at a considerable distance from Aurelia. It remains under the Ghost Stars; the Aurelian world is catalogued separately as typhon-primaris.

Typhon Primaris is the Blood Ravens jungle setting of Dawn of War II. It contains a dead craftworld beneath the swamp and a war between Orks and Tyranids in the forest canopy, which a cyclonic action by the Ordo Malleus brought to an end. Several other names resemble it. Typhon Septimus is a separate ice-world entry that shares the Aurelia listing, Typhon Eight is a further conflation, and the Typhon-Styx Protectorate is a Votann league.

Typhon retains its standing as the Ghost Stars entry bearing the name, an ambiguity that earlier overlays had already flagged. Unofficial summaries keep the Ghost Stars parent, do not attribute Angelos’s jungle to this entry, and do not merge it with Primaris.
