Typhon Sector

The Typhon Sector is a named region of the Ultima Segmentum, distinct from the Typhon System, the planet Typhon and the Typhon-Styx Protectorate. It is not the Typhon System of Subsector Aurelia, which appears in Dawn of War, nor the Ghost Stars planet that some maps also label Typhon. This map records it as a region rather than as a single jungle world.

No published crusade uses this sector name in the way that the Badab or Gothic names are used. The Blood Ravens narrative is located on Typhon Primaris, and the Ghost Stars world is held under the planet identifier typhon. The Votann fortress league is the Typhon-Styx Protectorate. The Typhon Sector entry serves as the additional administrative region that remains once these separate entries are accounted for.

The Typhon Sector retains its standing as a named region, and it should not be read as a second Aurelia. Unofficial summaries place it within the Ultima Segmentum and do not assign to it the cyclonic-world dossier of Typhon Primaris. They also keep the sector separate from the Protectorate.
