Valos

Valos is a barren Eastern Fringe dead world southeast of Ultramar with two stacked catastrophes. Horus Heresy atomic fire boiled its oceans while Legio Astorum and Legio Fureans kept duelling in the steam, and in late M41 Hive Fleet Behemoth ate what was left — the first world the swarm overran before it reached Tyran and earned its name. There is no living Guard culture to recruit from here. The pin is a corpse that Titans and Tyranids both used.
