Vash’ya

Vash’ya is a T’au world of the Second Sphere, terraformed so slowly that it became an Air Caste dockyard before it became a breathable colony. The world lies between spheres of T’au expansion, and its function as a shipbuilding and fleet base preceded its settlement.

Major kor’vattra fleets and defence platforms occupy its orbits. Pilots from Vash’ya seeded earlier expansions, so the world contributed to T’au colonisation beyond its own territory.

After Agrellan, the Hrud, a xenos species, attacked the sept on Vash’ya using time-fields. Drones and remotely controlled battlesuits defeated this attack. The world is therefore recorded both as a principal Air Caste fleet station and as the site of a successful defence against the Hrud.
