Vaxanide

Vaxanide is a Malfian Sub-Sector hive on the Calixis rim, always slightly too poor and too lawless to join Scintilla's inner circle. House Vaxanide rules from Hive Vaxanhive, exports porcelain, glass, and fish, and keeps a Drusus shrine that pilgrims swear works. Ork raids in 410.M41 and the hulk Pinnacle of Savagery in 507.M41 both died on Battlefleet Calixis' guns, while outside the hive precincts the frontier is still a knife-fight.
