Voss

Voss is a forge world in the Segmentum Solar, founded in the Age of Strife and known for producing Malcador tanks. A forge world is an industrial planet dedicated to manufacture. Voss also holds mineral rights on Cthonia.

The world was reunited early in the Great Crusade. During the Horus Heresy it aligned with the Dark Mechanicum, the faction of the Adeptus Mechanicus that sided with the rebellion. Voss sent Archmagos Trahn to assist in retaking Cthonia. The Imperium subsequently reclaimed Voss.

Voss is noted for its Malcador tank production, its Cthonian mineral interests, and its part in the Heresy-era struggle over Cthonia. It is a separate location from Voss Prime, the world adjoining Armageddon that is associated with the Right Hand of Mars.
