Vulcanis System

The Vulcanis System is the Segmentum Obscurus forge well of Stygies VIII, a gun-barrel moon on a gas giant famous for Vanquishers and a Xenarite habit of studying alien machines in secret.

Eldar saved the forge in the Heresy; Deathwatch later tried to burn the habit out. The priesthood hides its work behind stealth screens and deleted archives. Kind on the child pin is moon, not planet.

The Vulcanis System still matters as a forge that survived by accepting xenos help and never quite apologised. Unofficial summaries keep the Obscurus parent and refuse to flatten the gas giant into a Mars clone.
