Watch Station Andronicus

Watch Station Andronicus is a Deathwatch listening post and kill-team staging station in the Andronicus System, in the Canis Salient. It stands in an asteroid choke, a dense concentration of debris. A kill-team is a small Deathwatch strike force, and kill-teams established the station after clearing the lifeless world of Andronicus Prime.

A city-ship wrecked the planet’s moon. The Deathwatch returned when something alien stirred on the planet’s frozen crust, bombarded the surface, and left a bastion among the debris. The station serves as a staging post for kill-teams and as an auspex well, a concentration of sensor and detection instruments.

The station remains the Deathwatch’s Andronicus vigil in the Reach. It is classed as a station within the Andronicus System. It is distinct from Watch Fortress Erioch and from Andronicus Prime, the planet it observes.
