Zayth

Zayth is a Heathen Stars war-world in the Koronus Expanse whose people live inside city-sized land-ships on a poisoned macro-continent. The Koronus Expanse is a frontier region associated with Rogue Traders. On 40k Orrery, the Halo Stars entry for Zayth records the war fought between these vehicles.

The land-ships are hive-vehicles the size of cities, and they travel across radioactive ash. Engine-Orders guard sealed generator vaults, because the inhabitants no longer know how to build the hulls and know only how to operate them. The clans have forgotten why the war began, and each seeks the destruction of the next crawler. Explorators, for their part, seek traces of Standard Template Construct (STC) technology associated with the copper doors of these vaults.

Zayth is significant as a land-ship world of the Koronus Expanse and the Halo Stars, not as a forge world of the Sol system. It is the kind of archeotech prize that Kotov’s Speranza expedition was organised to detect. This unofficial summary keeps the Halo Stars as the parent location and does not relocate the entry into the combined Koronus sector row.
