Zillman’s Domain

Zillman’s Domain is a Josian feudal world governed by a king whose authority rests on his ownership of a lasgun, an energy rifle. Possession of the weapon, rather than lineage or office, is the stated basis of the king’s rule.

The inhabitants treat visitors who carry vox-beads, a form of communication device, as witches and burn them. The Tyrant Star is said to have passed eight years before the gazetteer date.

The gazetteer records the world chiefly for the technological basis of its monarchy and for the hostility shown to outsiders carrying vox-beads. It is also listed under the aliases Zillman and Zilman’s Domain.
