Assassination of Gabriel Seth

The Assassination of Gabriel Seth was an attempt on the life of the Flesh Tearers Chapter Master by Captain Guriel of his own Chapter, working with the Inquisition. No named world is recorded for the shrine in which the attempt took place. Guriel declared Seth a threat to the Chapter’s future who expended battle-brothers too easily, and trapped him in a shrine with an Eversor Assassin. Seth bested the maddened killer and used its embedded explosive to escape the shrine. After his escape he promptly dealt with Guriel. The attempt belongs to the period of Seth’s contested leadership as the Flesh Tearers’ numbers dwindled toward the Devastation of Baal and its aftermath.
