Battle for the Endeavour of Will
The Battle for the Endeavour of Will was fought in 998.M41 when Warsmith Shon’tu attacked the Imperial Fists star forts Endeavour of Will and Bastion Inviolate near the Eye of Terror. First Captain Darnath Lysander arrived from the Siege of Malebruk, which was later consumed by a daemonic maw on the Ferrous Malice. Aboard the Endeavour of Will he fought Possessed Marines and Obliterators, used virus bombs in contested corridors, bound Tzeentchian Dancers to the dying Techmarine Hestion, and in the final stand at the datamedium ordered an electromagnetic torrent that crippled Iron Warriors bionics. Shon’tu fled by Dreadclaw as Velthinar drove the Ferrous Malice at the fort; the Bastion Inviolate intercepted and both vessels were lost to the warp.
