Battle of Harka

The Battle of Harka was an Ultramarines action of the 41st millennium against the Seven Sorcerers of Harka, a cabal of seven Chaos Space Marine Sorcerers who had gathered a considerable force of cultists and mutants and wreaked havoc across the Imperium. No segmentum, sector, system or coordinates are recorded for Harka. A young Librarian, Varro Tigurius, then serving with the 5th Company, led the strike force sent against the cabal and used his psychic abilities to best all seven Sorcerers at once, killing each of them. Among those who fought beside him was the battle-brother Orestes, who became his close friend and confidant and served with him in many campaigns afterwards. In the wake of the battle Tigurius became famous within the Chapter and rose to the rank of Codicier, the first step in a career that would bring him command of the Librarius.
