Battle of Lion’s Gate spaceport
The Battle of Lion’s Gate spaceport was a major engagement of the Siege of Terra between Sons of Horus assault forces and Imperial Fists defenders. Fighting for control of the facility’s landing fields and void shields raged across its ruined gantries and hab-structures, with the spaceport changing hands repeatedly as both sides committed substantial forces to the struggle. The battle formed part of the wider assault on the approaches to the Imperial Palace during the siege.
