Battle of Tsadrekha
The Battle of Tsadrekha was fought on the Imperial hive world Tsadrekha after the opening of the Great Rift; no segmentum, system, coordinates, or narrower year are recorded for the battle. Tsadrekha’s own account records that it was cut off in what it calls The Blackness, and that a psyker acting as a beacon allowed it to call for help. The world resisted two Chaos invasions within a single month. Disparate Chaos warbands then devastated Tsadrekha while attempting to corrupt the beacon. The Imperial Fists and Saint Celestine intervened against them. Khârn sensed Celestine’s presence on the world, travelled there, fought through its defences, and killed her in a duel. Khârn is not recorded as having commanded every warband involved in the fighting. Most of the Chaos forces were eventually forced to leave Tsadrekha, which was left devastated by the battle.
