Battle of Ulvheim
The Battle of Ulvheim, also called the Last Battle of the Pit, was fought on Ulvheim in the Pit of Raukos during the Era Indomitus. Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl came to the world to activate a Necron pylon array intended to stabilise the Attilan Gate, an alternate route into Imperium Nihilus, by driving a null field into the Pit of Raukos. Ulvheim, formerly designated 108/Beta-Kalapus-9.2, is the arid homeworld of the Wolfspear Chapter. As Cawl’s party reached the world, forces of Vashtorr attacked. Amid the fighting Cawl reached the pylon control node and activated it. A massive null field sealed the Pit and banished the daemons. In the aftermath he met Decimus Felix and announced his intention to proceed at once for the Attilan Gap, with Felix insisting on accompanying him.
