Battle of Vhaloth IV
The Battle of Vhaloth IV was fought in 988.M41 between the Necrons of the Overlord Imotekh the Stormlord and the Space Wolves of Logan Grimnar’s Great Company, the Champions of Fenris. It ended in a Space Wolves victory when Grimnar, riding his chariot Stormrider, led the final charge that broke the Stormlord’s phalanxes. Grimnar had come to Vhaloth IV hunting a different Necron lord, Trazyn the Infinite, to exact retribution for Trazyn’s attack on Midgardia in 933.M41, and the victory over Imotekh left that purpose unfulfilled. The annals of the Space Wolves record the engagement as Riders of the Storm. No segmentum, sector or system is recorded for the world.
