Consortium on Urum

After the fall of Canticle City on Harmony, Fabius Bile settled upon the Crone World of Urum in the Eye of Terror and made it the seat of his Consortium, a shifting fellowship of renegade Apothecaries drawn from several Traitor Legions. Within ruined Eldar halls he continued the New Men project and the trade in gene-craft for which Imperial and Traitor sources alike know him as the Primogenitor and the Spider. Urum remained his principal laboratory through subsequent millennia of the Long War. From it he launched or returned from later campaigns, including the War of the Spider, and to it he brought specimens taken from Bairsten Prime, Dessah, and other worlds. Mutants, beastmen, and New Men are recorded as fighting staged wars in its halls for the amusement and instruction of the Consortium’s chirurgeons.
