Culzean contract war

The Culzean contract war was a conflict on Gudrun between Orfeo Culzean’s hired operatives and Ravenor’s warband. Culzean conducted it through commercial contracts rather than through allegiance to a cause. Other actors operated in the same theatres as the contracts. These included Mabbon Etogaur, whose activities involved a Blood Pact defector, and Harlon Nayl, whose forceful interventions ran alongside them. Culzean sold outcomes rather than loyalty. Ravenor treated the contracts as a further front adjacent to the Molotch. The war rendered Gudrun usable ground for hired operatives adjacent to the Cognitae. It was paid for in casualties, while Culzean charged for ingenuity.
