Death of Zygmunt Molotch

The long pursuit of Zygmunt Molotch reached its end in 404.M41 at Elmingard, a fortified holding in the Kell Mountains on Gudrun, where Molotch had gone to ground. There, confronted by the warp entity Slyte, Ravenor and Molotch set aside their enmity long enough to combine their respective powers against it, an alliance of necessity that succeeded in banishing the entity but at ruinous cost: Elmingard and part of the surrounding Kell Mountains were destroyed in the effort. With Slyte banished, Ravenor turned on Molotch without hesitation, executing the man he had hunted across half the subsector and closing, with his death, the case that had defined much of Ravenor’s career as Inquisitor.
