Defence of Mu’gulath Bay against Hive Fleet Eumenides

The defence of Mu’gulath Bay against Hive Fleet Eumenides was fought in M41 on the former Imperial hive world of Agrellan, renamed Mu’gulath Bay after its capture by the T’au Empire in the Battle of Mu’gulath Bay during the Third Sphere of Expansion. No narrower year is recorded. Hive Fleet Eumenides, a Tyranid hive fleet earlier encountered by the peoples of Verdrun IX, extended its tendrils against the occupying T’au forces on Agrellan. Commander Shadowsun led a Firestrike Hunter Cadre in the defence of the world against that invasion. The engagement stands apart from the later Imperial reconquest of the same world in the Second Agrellan Campaign, and is one of the recorded Tyranid threats Shadowsun met in person on Mu’gulath Bay before that world’s destruction.
