Defence of Styxia Prime
The Defence of Styxia Prime was fought on an Imperial agri-world of the Styxia System, in the Eastern Fringes of the Ultima Segmentum, against a tendril of Hive Fleet Gorgon. No coordinates are recorded for the world. The Imperial Navy destroyed all but one of the attacking hive ships before they could make planetfall, and only that vessel disgorged its Tyranid brood before dying. The Imperial forces on the world, commanded by the Cadian General Arka and the Ultramarines Master of Sanctity Ortan Cassius, then defeated the invaders. Cassius, already renowned for his part in the First Tyrannic War, led the Ultramarines in the defence.
