Discovery of Konrad Curze
The Discovery of Konrad Curze is the event associated with Nostramo, the sunless hive world that Curze later ruled. Nostramo was an adamantium planet given over to hive-based crime, and its surviving wreck lies on the inner edge of the Ghoul Stars. A moon locked in eclipse above the planet kept it in permanent darkness. Its pale inhabitants lived in the hives and supplied recruits to the Night Lords Legion, among them Jago Sevatarion. The source record does not describe the circumstances of Curze’s discovery. It documents only the rule that followed, which Curze exercised through fear. Curze eventually ordered the destruction of Nostramo, and the Legion’s own guns cracked the planet’s core and reduced it to fragments. The ruined world remains the point of origin of the Night Lords and the record of their primarch’s rule. Tsagualsa, the Legion’s later seat in exile, became a sister theatre to the shattered homeworld.
