Expedition to Amenthis

The Expedition to Amenthis was a venture of M42 in which Trazyn the Infinite travelled to the Maelstrom tomb world Amenthis to claim knowledge and relics attributed to Sothka the Arcane and the Conclave of the Soulless. Trazyn went with the cryptek Orikan the Diviner, the Triarch praetorian Phillias, Inquisitor Helynna Valeria, the deathmark Huntmaster and an escort of Triarch praetorians, passing through a dolmen gate and the webway aboard the light cruiser Lord of Antiquity. On Amenthis they fought daemons among noctilith megaliths and a replica of the Necrontyr Eternal Court, where corrupted Necrons enacted endless funeral rites. Accounts hold that Sothka and the promised Cauldron of Souls were instruments of the greater daemon Pestamutadis the Observer. Trazyn and Orikan escaped by reconfiguring the cauldron as a dimensional slingshot and returned to Solemnace; the portal also admitted Pestamutadis, whose assault on the galleries followed immediately.
